Silent Disco and Glow Themed Homecoming

This is a post for the week of September 24th -30th . It's a chance for us to share with you what we at #SoundEngagement has been up to, showcase some of the events we’ve been doing, and (of course) show you all the amazing people we collaborate with!

Last Wednesday we traveled to Dickinson North Dakota and did a silent disco for the Law Enforcement Administrative Support Conference attendees. If you have never heard of or experienced a silent disco it is something you should check out .

For those of you that are curious....

A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcasted via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants.

For this event guests could listen to two Djs Zach and our friend Anthony from Harmon Entertainment. We transformed the room with some ambient lighting and did some photo sharing (people could text in photos to share to the TV Screens). We even had some glow foam wands to add some extra fun. It was so much fun to hear people sing and dance to two different songs at the same time. As you can see from this photo people had a memorable night!

Friday we headed to Mahnomen MN and did their Homecoming Dance. They did a glow theme this year. Before the event we designed and printed out some posters to help promote the dance.The kids had lots of fun and it had been almost two years since they had a homecoming dance.
